188/365 - Great Jumping Jehosaphat!

188/365 - Great Jumping Jehosaphat!

It's been the week from H-E-double hockey sticks (just felt like saying that for humor) for myself and printers. Here's the run-down:

Monday morning:
-Go to school to print something for my lesson and the printer server is down
--The tech tells me to print to the downstairs copier....downstairs copier is broken
---The tech tries to directly connect me to the printer, but it won't work
----Get home, try to print some certificates on my home printer....it won't work (I finally got it to work after unplugging it in several times)

Tuesday:
-Wake up and notice strange blue light emanating from my study - printer error

Wednesday:
-Wake up to same printer error
--Still can't print at school
---Come home to print my last few certificates...the power goes out for 3 hours. I'm finally getting to print them now.

So I've had it with printers this week. Just done.

In our neck of the woods Jumping Jehosaphat is NOT a good thing. I get the impression it might be used as a positive elsewhere. Interesting. How's it used where you live?

P.S. No printers were harmed in the making of this photo.

Common Ash bud

Common Ash bud

Fraxinus excelsior

Thanks go to paintistwork/Lymnne for identifying this tree as an Ash.
A widespread tree which grows well in lime-rich soil. This tree was growing in an area where there used to be a limekiln. Once sacred to the people of Scandinavia it was the symbol of the life-force. It was also thought to have medicinal as well as mystical properties. It's wood is very strong and pliable and is used to make oars, hockey sticks, tennis racquets and skis.
